The Constance Taylor Dress Shop
This is the Constance Taylor dress shop opened around 1950, a high end ready to wear shop formerly owned and run by Constance Taylor. Grace, her daughter, worked with her mother running the shop after college graduation and finally took it over completely after Constance retired. Business has been terribly poor because of the economy. Grace was in danger of losing the business and decided to hire a consulting team for advice. After painful deliberations, Grace took the advice of her business consultants and is making huge changes to her store, going from high end fashion to vintage and mod. The area demographics show a neighborhood in flux from upscale shops and houses to to the coming of a new college and large houses being rented by young artists, writers, musicians and the like, who get several roommates to share the rent. Grace will do anything to save her dress shop, and she's trying her best to get used to the new look of the shop. Her friends are very supportive and think she'll do well with the changes.
